Andrew Walls was born and raised in central Delaware, where he quickly started his music education under the tutelage of his parents. Before he could read, he was memorizing lines for roles in the local High School musicals. At age 7 he began to study Piano privately with Sherry Roscoe, at 8 he joined the school choir, and at 9 he started trumpet lessons with his father Bob Walls.

In 7th grade, Andrew auditioned for the All-State Junior Band where he beat out high school freshman and won 1st chair. This was the start of his 16 time placement in Delaware All-State Bands, Jazz Bands, and Choirs. His unrivaled success in these domains lead to his acceptance into the NAFME All-Eastern Band, Jazz Band, and Choir. Mr. Walls chose the Jazz Band, where he played Lead Trumpet and was a featured soloist. In 2016 Mr. Walls was awarded the Delaware Honors In Music Award for his contributions to the Delaware Music Educators Association.
Andrew's touring experiences in both the DCA and DCI marching arts give him insight into competitive world class styles and current instructional methodology. This experience paired with his natural teaching ability make Mr. Walls a highly sought after clinician in the field.

Andrew continued his education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education. While there, he studied Trumpet, Voice, Jazz Improvisation, and Instrumental Conducting Privately with highly respected faculty in each respective field. He also maintained his reputation as a performer in the schools most prestigious Concert Bands, Jazz Bands, Choirs, and as a Section leader and soloist in the West Chester University "Incomparable" Golden Rams Marching Band.
Mr. Walls is uniquely qualified as a Music Educator due to his array of experience in Concert, Jazz, Marching, and Choral Ensembles. The knowledge of each genre's complexity combined with cutting edge pedagogical practices give his students meaningful, authentic experiences.
